We just discovered this weekend that a family that was good friends with our family suffered a tragic even on Saturday. The husband and wife were going through a divorce and had quite a few custody disputes over the last couple of years. Well, on Saturday, Mark Castillo (the father) took the three children (ages 2, 4, and 6) to a hotel and murdered them and unsuccessfully attempted suicide. Some of my family will be attending a funeral this weekend and I would love to be able to send them with a gift of money to help with expenses. I don't yet know of any specific needs, but there will obviously be expenses related to burying three children unexpectedly.

The only reason that this is Kansas City related is because Mark Castillo did live in Kansas City prior to moving to Maryland.
